DATES AND DETAILS
Tours run from the first week in May to the last week in October. Call (570) 679-9200 or email us for information and available dates.
Your bike tour includes a one night stay at each of our three inns, and you cycle to each inn during the day. Each of the three inns provides you with dinner, breakfast and a trail lunch for your ride. Your luggage will be shuttled to the next inn each day. On the fourth day, you and your gear will be shuttled back to the starting point or you may ride back and your gear will be shuttled.
Each day you can choose a moderate or more challenging route to the next inn. Maps and detailed directions will be provided to you at the start of your tour. The bike tour routes utilize our scenic country roads and abandoned railroad beds. The tour covers both paved and dirt roads and some rough surfaces, so a mountain bike is suggested. Mileage each day will range from 15 to 30 miles depending on which route you choose. A sag wagon is not provided. Whether you ride once a week or cycling is a way of life, our tour will make you feel at home on a bike.
Your tour begins at either The Inn at Starlight Lake or Fern Hall Inn. The tour and the available days can be customized to suit your needs by changing the order in which you stay at the inns or the number of days involved -- just ask!

Past riders have suggested a large fanny pack for carrying gear as it is less apt to rattle around or fall off your bike. They also recommended having your bike tuned by a professional mechanic and then riding it a couple of times before the tour. This list might seem excessive, but you'll find it's best to be prepared.
You may UPS your bikes to us if you're coming by bus or air.
